Corporation or Not

One thing that is very important, no matter what type of business you are in, or where you conduct it - online or brick and mortar - you must decide whether or not to be a Sole Proprietor, an S. Corp. a C. Corp, an LLP, or an LLC.

Do yourself a big favor and look into the laws of your state, get the best information you can afford right now and set your business up properly.

You can't afford not to.

LLC - that's me,

Fear

Fear of flying.

Fear of insects.

Fear of the unknown.

Fear of public speaking.

We all have known at some time in our lives a fear that has kept us back.

If you are attempting to do business on the internt for the first time, I'm sure that you've expierenced some type of fear. Maybe it was taking the first step and joining a company. Maybe it was launching your first ad campaign. What ever it is, or was, never let fear hold you back.

Keep this quote in mind, it's by Eleanor Roosevelt: "We gain strength and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face. We must do that which we think we cannot".

I can, I can, I can

Patience

Well patience is a virtue for sure.

Although we all know that it is tried from time to time.

Each day I renew my vow that today I am one step closer to achieving all my goals.

Guess what?

I am.

Nothing comes easily. Not in life, nor in cyberspace.

Millions, and billions are made in both.

Take time out to smell the roses.

Never give up.

Who's the Teacher

So you narrow your search down to a few companies and now it's time for the big decision.

Who will be your teacher?

Meaning, what company will show you the ropes, and get you to "Profit Mode".

Another new phrase I've learned along the way.

Profit Mode, is what everyone wants to be in.

No one wants to be left behind.

Is the teacher thorough? Is the teacher easy to comprehend? Does the teacher spend quality as well as quantity time with the new student?

The teacher is your sponsor and if you are like some, the sponsor went into the Witness Protection Program and is no where to be found and then - Boy of Boy - then you are left to your own devices. That can cost you time and money.

Play Nice

The internet like the playground, can be a scary place.

Who do you play with?

Are they safe?

Is it a scam?

Will they take my money and leave me crying in the dust?

Is there a playground monitor?

What is the cost of admission to this massive playground in cyperspace?

Questions like these continue to float around the Newbies head as they look for a company that fits their lifestyle and appeals to how they want to make money online.

Purgatory

I'm in the inbetween zone these days.

Learned a little.

Need to learn a whole lot more.

Know what I know.

Know what I don't know.

Frustrated that I don't know more.

How can I fit it all in.

Some days I can spend 2-3 hours online, reading, studying etc....and others due to life and family - I'm lucky I have enough time to check email, let alone respond back to those who wrote.

I want heaven, and I'm halfway there.

I know that the financial rewards of being an Internet Marketer are huge. I also know that it's not a natural state to be financially strapped. Soooooooo..... after a little meditation, I'm ready to get back in the saddle and sign into another webinar, bringing me closer to the promised City of Gold.

Time Out

You know the more I think about this internet game of life, the more I realize how it mimics the real deal.

Do you know what happens when you play and don't know the rules of the game on the WWW. ?

I do.

It's called time out.

That's what happens.

You need a time out, due to information overload and no way to process what you took in.

You need a time out, because your google adwords campaign, cost more than you thought.

You need a time out, because your sister, brother, mother, father, spouse or significant other decided to give you an earful about how much time you spend and how little or no money you've made and maybe you ought to think about becoming a hamburger flipper at McDonalds, since the sign says they are HIRING.

Playgrounds

So, here's what I used to think.

The Internet was a big playground for the rich, soon to be rich, wanna be rich and of course, famous.

Now, I think differently, it's a playground alright, but you have to know the rules of the game in order to play there.

I obviously did not, and still have not mastered all the rules, and since I'm not a lawyer, I haven't found the loopholes either.

But being the person who sees the glass half full, I continue to search endlessly for the answers and know deep down, that it's only a matter of time, until I too, am rich and famous for doing business online.

On the road to

Do you ever feel like you are lost in space - Cyber Space?

Well, as a new person to the Internet - Newbie - I sure do most of the time.

It was a different ballgame when I surfed the net for pleasure or even for a specific item, person or place.

These days as I careen from one web site to another, I'm looking for answers to specific questions so that I can profit from being online - like so many Internet Guru's boast about, yet one universe leads to another and still I find myself lost in space.
